Immovable Objects
Shot in Glasgow in the spring of 2021, Immovable Objects explores the plight of a small family forced out of their home and into hotel accommodation at the onset of the Covid pandemic. It charts the beauty of the childhood world against the grim reality of what the day brings. Written by Aileen Ritchie and directed by Manu Kurewa, it stars Marlene Madenge who won the Best Actress Award at the First Frame International Film Festival in New York, 2023, for the role.
