Days Without

In August 2021 John Binnie directed his short film Days Without. Influenced by prevailing Covid conditions, filming involved three actors in three separate locations with one additional outdoor scene. The film draws parallels between the Covid pandemic and the AIDS crisis of 30 years before and looks at themes of separation and loss. Ann Scott Jones played Myrna, Graham Crammond played Russ and Scott Miller played Cal. Director of photography and editor was Kevin Walls, production design by Robin Mitchell, music by Tommie Travers, stage management by Linda Service, movement consultant was Jane Simpson and dramaturgy was by Mari Binnie.
